The club's first tournament of the year. If you haven't been swinging over the winter, it's time to clean up your clubs and get ready for the 2010 season.
We're ready and the course will be too!
This format will give you a chance to get the kinks out of your swing and more importantly, your back.
We usually play a Four-man Scramble, but this year we will play a version of the Scramble, we will call it a Four-man SHAMBLE. See the format description below. We think you'll like it!
This is the second tournament of the year. The course is in great shape and ready for the onslaught of the FHGC after last month's warm up.
We recommend that each team keep two scorecards to compare after each hole or at the end of the round. Signing and attesting your scorecard is official when turned into the scorers. Please use the conventional number system on the scorecard turned into the scorers. It can be confusing to the scorers if the scorecard has pluses and minuses and other scratch marks.
This month we play the Cascade Course at Gold Mountain and another of our favorite tournament formats, progressive best ball. Stress builds, as it should.
More pressure, more fun!
This is another one of the club's favorite courses and a good challenge for all levels of golfers. Tough par threes, water, treelined fairways, everything you want in a premiere course.
This month we're playing at one of the newer courses in the state and you'll really need your "A" game. It's match play so your teammates will be depending on you!
This month we play another club favorite, the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain. Your game should be getting back in season shape by now.
The season is winding down so now it's time to make your move and finish strong. A great tournament format to test your improved skills.
This is the season finale. Please note the 10:00 am tee time.
There is no team format but we'll have a honey pot. Pick your own foursomes. You're on your own for side bets and trash talking.
We will celebrate the end of another successful season at the South China Restaurant immediately after the round.
This is our annual end of season celebration at the South China Restaurant.
Entree selections will be Steak or Salmon.
All members dinners are compliments of the FHGC.
Spouses and significant others are invited to join us for dinner. If you confirm that you are bringing a guest, you are responsible for the price of their dinner, whether they come or not.
