Wild times in the Woods

Tough month for the competitive - McCormick Woods, Team A vs. Team B match play tournament for bragging rights and dinner.

The smell of firs and cedars, possibly a view of a deer or two and the gentlemanly trash talking of those whetting their appetites.

It doesn't get much better...

Dinner will be held after the tournament at 6:30.

Team A vs. Team B Match Play

This is a Team “A” vs. Team “B” match play format.  Each player is playing for three (3) points.  One (1) for the front nine, one (1) for the back nine, and one (1) for the total.  Ties earn ½ point for each player.

Allow the higher handicap player the full difference between the handicaps of the two players.  Handicap strokes are taken beginning on handicap hole number one, then two, etc.

The team with the most points won will be the winner.  Losers will pay $20 towards two (2) dinners and the club will pay the balance.  The committee suggests that winners buy the losers a drink or beverage (alcoholic beverages are not included in the dinner price).
