Two Man Best Ball with Parimutuel Betting
A simple format with no counting challenges this time. Just play golf, score well (at least one of you for each hole!) and have fun.
Scorecards
We need your help! Reviewing 40-50 scores is a challenge, so the committee requests that you complete your scorecards as follows:
- After each player’s name, place a “dot” in the box of each hole for each stroke received on the hole.
- Record the gross (actual) score for each hole.
- At the bottom of the card, record the best ball (net) score of your team for each hole.
- Circle the gross score on each hole that was used as the best ball.
Each team is responsible for the accurateness of their scorecard. Player’s last names and signatures of the scorer and attest are required.
Parimutuel betting
Pick your favorite teams! Arrange your bets with the bookies from 10:00 to 10:45. Minimum wager per team is $2.
The parimutuel pays for low net winners in both flights. Participants must indicate the team number (as listed on the tee times) and the amount they want to bet.
The parimutuel is an exact pay out of the amount collected by flight. Example: You have 2 teams in a tournament. Team 1 has $8.00 bet with 4 tickets on them, and team 2 has $2.00 bet with 1 ticket. There is a total of $10.00 in the pot. If team 1 comes in, then $10.00 is paid out over 4 tickets, or $2.25 for each ticket. If team 2 comes in, then $10.00 is paid to one ticket.
