Saw several FHGC members keeping up the ties with the First Hill Lions Club this morning.  Ed Yakushijin, Thom Ikeda and Victor Mizumori were demonstrating some serious kitchen skills during  the annual pancake breakfast that will benefit Seattle Keiro, Kawabe House and Kin On this year.  

Ed and Thom have graduated to flipping flapjacks after long apprenticeships.  Victor was supervising the dishwashing crew.  If there's some good karma around, you know it will shine on these characters.  Keep that in mind when it comes to the parimutuel betting this season...
